Summer is here. . .

Dear Readers,

So we’re full throttle racing through Summer here in Virginia.  Lots of hot days, and rain this year, too.  Grateful for that since last year, our lake was showing real need of replinishment by the time Fall rolled around.

Summer doesn’t seem to last as long as it used to.  Maybe it’s because I dread Winter more with each passing year.  Give me an 80 degree day, a blue sky, and I’m a happy girl.

As for my vacation reading, I’m just starting Jodi Piccoult’s Change of Heart.  As usual, it is an engrossing story.  Love her writing.  During a recent trip, I actually took time to see a movie, Made of Honor, with Patrick Dempsey.  Great chick flick!
